Ivan Flancha and Zach Anthony made their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on Thursday, March 22, 2018 as a result of a fire in the York City - North East neighborhood. Their devotion to family, friends, colleagues, and York City will be long remembered in The Ivan & Zach Firefighter Memorial Gardens.
Your sponsorship of an engraved brick will bring this memorial to life. There are two brick sizes and 2 brick colors to choose from. We will provide you a separate form to submit the text you'd like to engrave.

ABOUT ZACH
“We are so blessed that you are honoring Zachary with a memorial garden. We are pleased that he will be remembered forever in the city of York. Zachary would be humbled because he was "just" doing his job, he was "just" helping a friend, he was "just" helping someone in need; because that is "just" the love that Zachary had for everyone.
We have peace because we know that Zachary heard ‘Well done, good and faithful servant' (Matt 25:23) as he entered heaven.
We miss him every day, and we are so thankful that the city of York and the residence of this fine city love Zachary!
As Zach always said "MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!"

ABOUT THE GARDEN MEMORIALS
We have brought together three groups: Their families, the Fire Department they served valiantly, and the neighborhood residents who live where the fire happened. Together, we envisioned three professionally designed gardens and patios which will serve as a vibrant, living memorial. It is a fitting tribute to their life and their sacrifice.
The gardens are designed by Dannie Wright from Hilltop Garden Design. The three gardens will feature the following flowers/plants:

Ivan & Zach Night Light ($30)
This night light uses the official Ivan & Zach & Firehouse image created by Cal Weary, local artists, business owners, and member of York XL Board of Directors.
The night light itself is made to order by 3D printer by a young artist, Ace Garcia. It measures 3"x4".
The idea to offer it to you as an additional way to honor Ivan & Zach came from Kimo Garcia, a member of York XL's EPIC Wealth Builders. A portion of the proceeds will be deposited into an account that he will be able to access when he is graduated from High School.
